YESTEK Inc. 2011 HOLIDAY CARD

The 2011 holiday cards are out… finally. This year I stuck with my tradition of limiting the use of cliché Christmas symbols (for the most part) and concentrated more on the design. I think somewhere deep inside I like to hear the response, “THIS is your Christmas card?” It means I have done my job in making the design stand out.

I really enjoy this time of year and—believe it or not—I actually enjoy sitting down and writing Christmas cards. Writing out each message gives me a chance to reflect back on each and every client, friend and family member and what that particular job or person means to me. As busy as business and life gets, it is nice to take a few moments and reflect back on the past in order to build relationships and creative ideas for the future.

This year I once again bottled wine to give out as client gifts. Similar to last year, I had custom bottles made donning the YESTEK Inc. logos which are reverse etched into the bottle giving the entire bottle a rough texture and vintage look.

This year’s wine: Uroguay Tannat-Merlot. For super wine lovers, the blend includes 2/3 Uruguay Tannat and 1/3 Yakima Merlot 100% virgin crushed grapes with toasted Hungarian oak cubes added at post-fermentation to add hints of vanilla and a whiff of toast. For causal wine drinkers like myself, it just tastes good and makes a great client gift.

Season’s Greetings, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone.
